Crafted from a single sheet of mirrored stainless steel, ‘OFF/CUT’ reimagines the classic chessboard and its pieces. The 64-square chessboard is etched with 32 carefully cut holes, forming the iconic layout.
Each of the ‘offcuts’ is reimagined and shaped by hand into a minimalistic set of characters. The pieces are then finished in a striking dual-tone—half polished stainless steel and half gunmetal.
