The ‘Invisible Bookend’ is a freestanding object made of metal, with the ability to hold a metre of books at an angle.
“This piece organises and displays neatly a row of books. It has a playfulness in that they look like they’re about to topple. I’m interested in the tactility and content of books and how this piece makes the titles, the words, the paper, the books themselves the focal point. How I’ve done this is not important.”
