Light and Shade Chandelier & Slump at PAD London

Our Light and Shade chandelier makes its debut at the PAD London design fair at the Carpenters Workshop Gallery booth, where it is on display from 10th to 16th October.
Light and Shade Chandelier is the latest in a body of work exploring the nature and morphology of paper. It bounces hidden LEDs through a carefully arranged configuration of ‘sheets’ to create a dramatic interior light sculpture. Designed for the home, the chandelier produces reflective light to create brightness without glare. Light and Shade can be organised in a series of infinite compositions.
The piece illuminates an arrangement of pieces from the studio’s Slump coffee table collection - made using industrial glass sheets that have been heated to high temps and ‘relaxed’ over rocks.
